Kenneth Seeley, member of the U. S. State Department's Foreign Service Bureau, and Marge Weldon, a morale worker with the bureau, are assigned to an area in Mongolia dominated by an outlaw warlord. The warlord captures the village where they reside and threatens the American citizens with execution. When escape is seemingly impossible, Seeley must desperately match wits against the warlord to save the Americans and do his duty for his country.
