Brandon and Philip live in New York together and strangle their friend David Kentley with a rope, feeling they are more intelligent than him. They place his body in an old chest and throw a small party, where they invite David's father, his fiancée Janet and their old schoolteacher Rupert. Rupert grows suspicious of Brandon’s behavior.
