Nadine Hale leaves her dancing partner, Don Hewes, for a career of her own.  His new dancing partner is Hannah Brown who works really well with him.  So well, that Florence Ziegfeld takes notice of them.  Only problem is that Nadine is in the Ziegfeld Follies and Don has to turn down the offer.  He is very professional with Hannah, but is in love with her.  Hannah believes he is in love with Nadine after seeing the two dance together at a club.
