Miss Pilgrim is a young typewriter in the late 1800's, who becomes the first woman employee at a Boston shipping office. The men at her job are not content with her working there, but she soon captivates all of them. One good-looking man is especially interested in her, but their relationship is set aside when she joins the Women's Suffrage movement.
