This film is set in a quiet Connecticut town where a friendly priest is killed. The townspeople are shocked by the murder and want the police to take action. John Waldron is new to town and a very nervous man who is suspected of the killing. He denies the crime and it is up to District Attorney Henry Harvey to prove his innocence.
