Blondie discovers an expensive watch that has been concealed by her husband Dagwood. She predicates that it's a wedding gift Dagwood is trying to surprise her with, but the watch is not for her. Dagwood has been taking care of the watch as a kind gesture for his client who purchased the watch for his own wife. Somehow thieves come into the picture, wanting to steal the watch.
