Governor Prince orders Sunset Carson to examine an illegal export circle that is confusing the Border Patrol . Ann Morton, a journalist, conceals her identity to work at the bar in hopes to get any information on the investigation. Sunset pretends to be a criminal by the name of Brazos Kane to be part of the smuggling group. Ann is on to Sunset and what he is really there for, but never utters a word to him about her discovery.
