Eric Stanton is kicked off the bus for not having enough money for the fare.  He begins to visit a diner where a beautiful waitress named Stella works.  In order to get Stella’s attention, he marries June Mills for her money, but then Stella is killed.  June still loves Eric even though she discovers the real reason he married her.  He searches for the killer.
