Cowboy Melody Jones is confused by the locals in Payneville for scandalous gunman, Monte Jarrad. The infamous Jarrad is in secret hiding trying to rest his wounds on the ranch of his long-time love, Cherry. She comes up with the plan to use Jones as a decoy, but Jones has different plans when he sets eyes on her.
