Uncertain Glory trailer
The film takes place in France during World War II. Jean Picard’s life is about to end with the guillotine for the crimes he has committed, but an air invasion obstructs his execution, leading him to slip away. Inspector Bonet eventually finds him, but they find out a railway bridge necessary to the Germans has been ruined. They suspect of allied officials, so they take 100 Frenchmen to kill if no one confesses. Picard decides to confess since he is terrified of dying through the guillotine. They go to the bridge so that Picard can prove he destroyed the bridge. Picard has a love for women and falls in love while trying to convince the Germans.
