Sherlock Holmes travels to Quebec City with his pal Dr. Watson for a conference and are pulled into a murder case in La Mort Rouge. Lady Penrose was the one to get murdered and she had sent Holmes a letter requesting his help, for she was worried about her safety. Unfortunately Holmes did not receive the letter on time and now she is dead. The scene of her crime was gruesome since the killer tore out her throat. Now there are rumors going around that devious spirits and monsters killed her, but Holmes feels that her acting past has something to do with her murder. Other people start getting assaulted and Holmes strongly feels the murderer is someone posing a local person.
