Kurt Fabian is the owner of Dty Gulch Trading Post who provides money to the local settler’s mortgages in order to pay for an irrigation system. Three Texas Rangers, Tex Wyatt, Jim Steele and Panhandle Perkins are responsible for transferring the money to a safe, where Sam Benson informs them he is the only one aware of the safe combination. Fabian teams up with Bill Gunner, Breed Crocker and Trigger Booth to rob the money, yet they do not succeed, so Fabian takes matters into his own hands and steals the money. Since Benson is the only person who knows the safe combination, he is arrested, and a group of people blame Captain Wyatt and the Rangers for not being on top of their job and if the money is not found, the Captain will be fired from his job. The Rangers are determined to bring Fabian to justice.
