Spade Norton buried $200,000 he took in a robbery before going to jail. Texas Ranger Tex poses as Norton and Red Hayden, the crooked saloon owner, initially believes him until the real Norton escapes from jail. The outlaws head out to recover the money and to finish off Tex. His two Texas Ranger buddies come to the rescue.
