Roy is sent by the Governor to find a group of destructors. Roy comes into contact with a traveling show and travels with them. He quickly discovers that the devious men speaking to one another while Maurice's mind reading act is going on through a concealed device. Maurice soon suspects that Roy is aware of the scheme. Maurice ties up Roy in a warehouse to blow up. He barely slips away, but a man dies in the explosion. Maurice frames Roy, who is sent to prison.
