Mr. Drake used to be a wealthy man, but is now left with no money, leaving his household employees seven months behind in their payment. The contriving valet Mike O'Brien plans a contrivance to have the maid Millie pretend to be Drake’s daughter in order to marry a wealthy man. Problems arise after this.
