Mugs has just turned 18 and learns that his rich and generous Uncle Pete is coming in from Texas to visit. Pete, who has been supporting the family, believes that Mugs has five brothers and a sister. Mugs promptly volunteers the gang to be the make-believe siblings, with Glimpy as his sister, "Annabelle." Things turn sour, however, when a local mobster finds out about Mugs' deception and threatens to expose it.
