Princess Victoria 'Vicki' Wilomirska and Baron Nicholas Eugen August Wolfgang 'Nikki' Prax are distinguished European people who have been banished from acquiring any resources or territory, yet they still keep their titles. They make a living of being guests at the homes of Americans that want to climb the social ladder. Things get complicated for the two when they decide they want to marry each other, since married aristocrats are not the most popular. This results in one of them having to get a real job.
