Blondie coordinates Housewives of America to represent home front wartime responsibilities, which includes protecting the neighborhood dam. Dagwood and the other husbands have no problem being left home doing all the domestic duties and taking care of the children, so clumsy Dagwood with his big imagination pretends to join the Army. Blondie dissolves Housewives of America to come home and get things back in order.
