Richard Dix and Preston Foster star as Dan Taylor and Paxton Bryce, two entrepreneurs who run their freight company from a riverboat.  When they encounter the duplicitous Dominique Beauchard, who is driving a herd of cattle to Louisiana, they offer to take his cattle to their destination for free.  When Beauchard reneges on his deal, they change direction and go into the cattle ranching business.
