Joan is successor to an oil business and is about to run off with bandleader Allen to get married, yet they only have known each other for four days! Steve is the pilot planning to fly them to Nevada and is offered money by her father to bring her home unmarried. He takes the offer since he has no money in his pocket. They fly off together, but is ordered to stop in Nevada. There the bandleader and the preacher are waiting, yet their marriage in California is not He flies off with her, an apparent kidnapping, but is forced down in the desert. The bandleader arrives with a preacher, but their marriage in California is not efficacious. Steve wants to marry her since her father is wealthy.
