Russ Raymond is the number one singer in America and vanishes to join the Navy under the name of Tommy Halstead. Dorothy Roberts is a curious magazine reporter, who is determined to snap a picture of him to reveal that he is Russ Raymond. Tommy makes new friends, Pomeroy Watson and Smokey Adams. They assist him with everything he needs, even though Pomeroy is busy writing love letters to Patty Andrews. It’s a classic!
