The Morgan Family lives in a Welsh mining town where the life is difficult. Huw is the youngest in the family and everything is seen through his vision about his family’s problems. Head of the family, Gwyllim works in the sketchy and debilitated mines along with his older sons. Gwyllim has a lot of faith on how his younger son is going to celebrate his preserving parents. Huw already has his own thoughts on how he is going to celebrate his father. Their daughter Angharad is considered the most beautiful girl in the valley and is deeply in love with Mr. Gruffydd. The problem is Mr. Gruffydd is unsure on whether he can give her the life she is worthy of. Life is difficult and the loyal men of the town are soon oppressed by unexpected mine owners.
