Released in 1941 by RKO Radio Pictures, A Panic in the Parlor (also known as Sailor Beware ) is a comedy short directed by Charles E. Roberts.
Leon and his buddy, Dick, take a trip to Tijuana for fun but Leon lies to his wife, telling her he’s on a business trip. When the plane they are supposed to be returning on is reported missing Mrs. Errol gets wise to his game.
Plotting revenge on Leon, Mrs. Errol pretends to have taken lovers, letting Leon hear her speaking in men’s voices and making him think there are men in his apartment with his wife.
Leon dons a disguise to spy on Vivian, but his plan backfires and comedic chaos reigns.
