After a bizarre murder of a basketball star outside of the Inferno Club is ruled a suicide, his best friend, Lynn Hollister (John Wayne), comes in from the country to find out what really happened. Tom Cameron (Edward Ellis) owns the Inferno Club and Lynn goes to his house to get answers. What he finds there is Sabra Cameron (Frances Dee) and a romance is kindled between the two. As Lynn pieces the puzzle together, the trail leads in a direction that threatens to pull their love apart.
