Geoffrey Thorpe is a vivacious and fearless pirate who is determined to steal Spanish ships to benefit England. During one fight, he encounters Dona Maria, a gorgeous Spanish royal. He falls for her immediately, but she is not fond of his ways. To change her mind, he returns the jewels he stole from her and she soon changes her mind about him. Queen Elizabeth orders him to stop stealing, after she finds out what he did with the ships, but Thorpe dismisses her orders.
