This is the first film in The Durango Kid series which stars Charles Starrett as the Durango Kid.
Mace Ballard murders rancher Sam Lowry after he discovers Ballard's men were beginning a fight with the homesteaders. Ballard accuses The Durango Kid of the murder, which leaves Bill Lowry skeptical about him since he is the real Durango Kid, yet no one knows about this. Bill and his ranch hands take care of Ballard’s men when they assault the Ben Winslow homestead, but the home is burned.
