Calling himself 'Marvelo the Mind Reader', Hoppy (William Boyd) goes undercover in a traveling medicine show to uncover who is behind a string of robberies. Despite his psychic abilities, not even Hoppy could predict that little ol’ Ma Burton (Marjorie Rambeau) is the criminal mastermind. Ma Burton and her henchmen capture Hoppy and Lucky. Hopalong must find a way to escape and bring Ma Burton’s gang to justice.
