Dr. Kildare receives his training at General Hospital from Dr. Gillespie.  He is also trying to help out a brain surgeon by the name of Gregory Lane who is saddened by the fact that he has lost so many patients.  When Lane's luck changes and one of his patents remains alive, he begins to feel better about himself until finding out that this particular patient is insane.  However, is the patient really insane or does he just know something the rest don't and Dr. Kildare has to take a big risk to find out if indeed, the surviving patient is actually crazy or does he holds the clue to a mystery.
