This film is based on a novel by the same name. Danny Kenny is a truck driver who becomes a fighter. He finds success as a fighter and uses his earnings to pay for his brother Eddie's music composition career. His girlfriend Peggy becomes a professional dancer and declines to marry him in order to further her career as a dancer. Things turn bad for Danny after his opponent places rosin dust on his boxing gloves, leaving him slightly blind. His brother ends up becoming a success and dedicates a symphony at Carnegie Hall to him, which he listens to on the radio. Peggy is in that audience and runs back to Danny.
