Both Dagwood and Blondie want certain things. Dagwood wants to be part of the trout club and Blondie wants to purchase a fur coat. Dag's ex-girlfriend Joan comes into the picture and Blondie starts to get jealous, but she quickly forgets about that matter when she wins money from a drawing at the movie theatre. She uses that money to purchase her new fur coat.
