Mayor Jones consecrates his election achievement at Earl Carroll's night club. He beat out Steve Kalkus, who has Earl Carroll and many of his performers abducted, thinking it would ruin Jones’s career. Carroll’s assistant, Ramona Lisa and his press agent, Barney Nelson continue the show without Carroll and use the rest of the performers. Carroll and the other performer that were kidnapped run away from Kalkus at the end.
