While driving cattle through Wyoming, the Three Mesquiteers become embroiled in conflict with a corrupt politician while trying to help an impoverished family survive.

The Three Mesquiteers series was a series of 8 films made by Republic studios through 1938 to 1939 starring John Wayne.

Parts of Wyoming Outlaw were shot in Lancaster, CA.

Elmo Lincoln came out of retirement to play the Marshal for Wyoming Outlaw.
