The Three Mesquiteers come to the rescue of Nancy Evans, a circus owner whose business and ranch are threatened by her former manager, George Ward, and his henchmen. Ward is trying to force Nancy to sell him her land at low prices by forcing her business under, because he knows that the state wants to put up a dam on the land and he can sell it to them at a profit.
Notes:
The Three Mesquiteers series was a series of 8 films made by Republic studios through 1938 to 1939 starring John Wayne.
Filming on Three Texas Steers was held up because John Wayne was working on his breakout hit, Stagecoach, with director John Ford.
