The success of The Lone Ranger serial ensured the 1939 sequel, The Lone Ranger Rides Again, starring Bob Livingston as the Lone Ranger , with Victor Daniels/Chief Thundercloud returning as Tonto, and Duncan Renaldo as Juan.

In this fifteen chapter serial, the Lone Ranger is framed for murder, and Juan Vasquez is out for revenge.  The Lone Ranger joins a group of settlers heading for New Mexico, convinces Juan of his innocence, and gains a third partner in his fight against a cattle baron's crooked nephew.

Livingston had made scores of films, but is probably best remembered as one of Republic's 'western trio', the Three Mesquiteers.  Duncan Renaldo later became well known portraying The Cisco Kid in films and on TV.
