Harry Van's Les Blondes as Themselves
Harry Van is a singer and dancer who has just returned from World War I and is determined to find work, yet nothing comes his way. He finds work with Madame Zulieka in a fake vaudeville act. During his tour, he encounters acrobat Irene Fellara, and they have a short-lived
romance. Twenty years pass and Harry is on another tour in Europe with a group of tall blonde dancers. His train stops at the Swiss border, where they are left due to the approaching World War II. Harry and his dancers stay at an Alpine
hotel with another group of stranded travelers. One of them seems to look a lot like the Irene he was romantically involved with years ago.
