This film is an adaptation of the “The Farewell Murder” by Dashiell Hammett. It stars William Powell and Myrna Loy who play Nick and Nora. It all begins with they visit the house of Col. MacFay who is receiving threats by a mysterious man who wants retribution for something that occurred in the past. The mysterious man becomes the main suspect after MacFay is murdered.
