Vincent Bullit is a handsome reporter who has just arrived from reporting on the Spanish Civil War and may have to leave for more work in China. Before his boss, Fullerton, sends him off, he has him work in his home to write some articles. Fullerton’s teenage daughter, Alice, begins to have feelings for Bullit. Everyone tries to hell her he is not the right man for her, yet she is very stubborn since she thinks she knows what is right for her.
