Pomeroy wants McClure's rodeo contract. Gene is McClune's supervisor and is suspicious that Pomeroy is guilty of all the accidents that have been taking place. Gene has a plan to capture Pomeroy by using a recording machine, but the plan fails when Gene is suspected of Pomeroy’s murder. Running from the law, Gene sets out another plan by using the recording machine again.
