Sally Western moves to New York City after her husband dies, where she believes her two young sons, Bob and Henry will receive a better education. Her sons take different paths as they get older. Bob becomes an intelligent lawyer, whereas Henry turns to crime in order to get rich. Henry ends up getting framed by gangster 'Bull' Connors for murder and Bob is the only one who can prove his innocence.
