Peggy Donovan joins an exclusive school for girls that is led by Colonel Matthews and his sister Emily. Lucille Farnsworth is a student who finds $30,000 in Peggy ’s luggage and informs the Colonel about it. She ends up writing to the Chicago address stating that Peggy is at the school, which leads gambler Dave Vickers to arrive at the school. Vickers turns out to be Peggy ’s father’s gambling partner. Problems arise because the Colonel feels unsure about how the money was won and calls the authorities.
