In order to prove a theory about one's luck of birth separating the rich from the poor, Count Armalia sends a dive singer, Anni to an elegant resort for two weeks. She plays the part of a wealthy woman, by dressing the part and finds she enjoys the new lifestyle. With little time left, she finds a rich suitor named Rudi, yet he has a fiancée and breaks it off with her after the two weeks are about over. During the meantime, she falls in love with a postman named Giulio, who does not have much. Love or money?
