Tod Slaughter plays the barber Sweeney Todd who lives in London. He has a barbershop near Fleet Street, where he invites lonely and rich costumers and kills them in order to steal their money. Mrs. Lovatt is the owner of the bakery below his barbershop and helps Sweeney Todd by getting rid of the bodies. Sweeney is determined to marry the fleet owner Stephen Oakley’s daughter, Joanna and uses the money he steals to help him out. Problems arise for Sweeney when Joanna’s boyfriend Mark Ingerstreet becomes rich, leading to Sweeney to kill him and steal his money.
