Tom Barton’s brother is the Marshal in Placerville where problems are taking place. When Tom gets to town he finds another man taking the place of his brother’s job. He finds out that Clark is behind all the madness and is after the Madison stage line. Tom teams up with Mary Madison to bring Clark to justice and find his missing brother.
