The Rancho Hernandez holds promise of great wealth, which attracts the attention of gambler Ace Morgan and his partner Amos Harden. Together they plot to grab the ranch from Don Hernandez by forging papers. They also trap his son Jose by crediting him large amounts of money, which they promptly win back through crooked gambling deals. Don and his charming daughter Juanita have just about resigned themselves to fate when a tall, lean and soft-spoken stranger who calls himself Tim Harrington rides into their lives. Little did the father and daughter realize that their guest was none other than the famous gambler Gentleman Tim Madigan, nor did they know that he had already devised an ingenious plan to save the ranch!
