Geoffrey Sherwood is a distinguished lawyer who goes on a drinking spree after his fiancée Valentine breaks up with him. He ends up marrying a girl he barely knows named Miriam Brady. They continue on with their marriage to see how it works. Miriam becomes more sophisticated with the help of their landlady. Geoffrey’s life is back to normal and better, which is why Valentine comes back to him.
