Faithful adaptation of Dickens’ ‘A Christmas Carol’ with an impressive Sir Seymour, who also co-wrote the script, as Scrooge.  Honored at the 1935 Venice Film Festival.  Supervisor John Brahm went on to direct atmospheric Hollywood classics like ‘The Lodger’, 1944.
