Dr. Peter Blood is exiled to the West Indies and sold into slavery after being arrested during the Monmouth Rebellion and wrongly convicted of treason. He is purchased for £10by the Governor’s daughter, Arabella Bishop to anger her uncle, Col. Bishop in Port Royal, Jamaica. The conditions are tough for Blood and the other men, but he soon becomes part of the Governor’s medical service. When the opportunity arrives, he and his friends take over a Spanish ship that threatened the city. Blood returns Arabella back to Port Royal after she becomes a prisoner, but discovers France has taken control over England. Will he fight for the new King?
