Julie and Bob go to visit Bob’s home from their Mardi Gras indulgence. He lives with his sister and isolated Uncle Andy. Andy believes Julie is his girlfriend from the past and she pretends to be her. They find out he was a steamboat captain and when he was left with no work from the railroads, he promised he would never leave his house. Since he still lives with the 1870's in his head, Julie, Bob, and Queenie convince him to go to a party where he finds that life is not so bad.
