Russian renegade Tanya Borisoff is all of the sudden deserted and left with no money by her boyfriend Tony Evans in Rangoon, Burma. Tony accepted a gunrunning opportunity with Nick, the owner of a sleazy nightclub. Nick gave Tony the opportunity thinking Tanya would become the main girl of the nightclub. At first she declines his offer, but then accepts to make matters better. She quickly gets a reputation for being scandalous, going by the name Spot White, and her personal activity grabs the attention of the commissioner who wants to send her back to Russia. She blackmails the commissioner by reminding him of their rendezvous and manages to receive 10,000 rupees from him to start her new life. She changes her name to Marjorie Lang and encounters Dr. Gregory Burton who is an alcoholic. They start to fall for one another.
