After graduating from college in the west, Janet Gaynor and James Dunn travel to New York City with their best friends Charles Farrell and Ginger Rogers to look for jobs.

This 1934 American drama film revolves around a group of college aged adults who move to New York City , each with their own career dreams and aspirations.  The film turns into a battle of  love and romance issues along with the issues of each character unable to find the employment they originally intended to pursue in New York City .
